CLP Power has not authorised, appointed or partnered with any intermediary companies or vendors to sell or install eligible products under Electrical Equipment Upgrade Scheme (EEUS). Applicants are free to select their own vendor to purchase the eligible products under EEUS. Applicants shall follow the requirements stipulated in the Application Guideline to apply for EEUS. CLP will update the Application Guideline from time to time. For details, please visit Application Guideline (PDF).
Required documents
You must submit the copy of your proof of purchase. Examples of proof of purchase include copy(ies) of invoice(s) AND receipt(s), and goods delivery note(s) if any. Your proof of purchase must include:
Vendor’s details (e.g. name, address and telephone number);
Equipment details (e.g. brand, model, unit price in HK$, quantity, lighting wattage and product description); and
Date of purchase.
What happens next
Post-installation check (Sample Check)
Once you submit your application, you may check your application status online. We will contact you to arrange for a post-installation check.
Receiving your subsidy
If your post-installation check is satisfactory, we will approve your application and credit your subsidy to your electricity account.
How to apply
Please download the relevant application form and contact your account manager:
Your account manager will schedule a pre-installation check for your current electrical equipment.
Install eligible equipment
Once your account manager confirms your eligibility and proposed electrical equipment, you may proceed to install your equipment.
Submit required documents
You must submit a copy of your proof of purchase. Examples of proof of purchase include copy(ies) of invoice(s) or receipt(s), and goods delivery note(s) if any. Your proof of purchase must include:

Once your installation is complete, please contact us to arrange for a post-installation check
Receiving your subsidy
If your post-installation check is satisfactory, we will approve your application and credit your subsidy to your electricity account.
By default, your subsidy credits will be used to offset your electricity bills. If your credits exceed HK$150, you may request for payment via cheque. We will make the cheque payable to the account holder.
