Training Course for High Voltage Electrical Workers

About this programme

CLP Power Academy has teamed up with Vocational Training Council and Guangzhou Industry and Trade Technician College to assist practitioners interested in the development of the Greater Bay Area in obtaining the Special Operations Licence (High Voltage Electrical Engineer), which allows them to engage in related electricity work in Mainland China.

According to the “Safety Production Law”, the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China issues the “Assessment Rules of Safety Technical Training of Special Operations Personnel”, which stipulates that those special operations personnel (referring to practitioners directly involved in special operations) must undergo special safety technical training, pass the assessment, and obtain the “Special Operations Licence of the People’s Republic of China” before they can take up their duties.

The special operations licence is valid nationwide for 6 years and reviewed every 3 years.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Students who meet the course attendance requirements and pass the assessment can be issued a "Certificate of Attainment”

• Students who pass the special operations licence examination can be issued a “High Voltage Electrical Engineer Licence”
