We also advise proactively preparing for unexpected outages to safeguard your safety and maintain the optimal operation of your equipment.
CLP has always been dedicated to maintaining the reliability, safety, and stability of the power supply system. Nevertheless, in situations such as severe weather events (e.g., typhoons), external damages, or power equipment malfunctions, there is a possibility of voltage fluctuations, power instability, or even outages.
While we endeavor to reduce the duration of outages, we cannot guarantee that the power supply will remain unaffected. Participation in this program does not guarantee continuous power supply or priority restoration in the event of an outage.
When we have scheduled maintenance or power system upgrades, affected customers who have registered life-support equipment will receive advance push notifications, providing information about the outage schedule and the expected restoration timeframe for the supply address.
These notifications will be dispatched through the CLP Mobile App. Kindly ensure that the application is downloaded and that the push notification feature is activated.
Important Notice
The Planned Power Outage Notification Service is specifically designed for CLP customers who rely on life support equipment. Take action to arrange backup power supply and consult your physician. While CLP will use all reasonable efforts to notify customers of planned power suspensions, factors beyond our control may affect the accuracy, timeliness, or availability of this service.
CLP will not be liable for any losses, damages, costs, or expenses incurred due to the temporary power suspension forecast service, whether claimed by registered customers or others, provided there is no wilful misconduct or negligence on the part of CLP and without prejudice to the Electricity Supply Rules.

We aim to provide you with sufficient notice before planned power outage. Typically, you will receive a notification 3 days in advance of the outage to minimize any disruptions.
