Through the CLP Eco Building Fund, you can:
Apply for up to 50% in subsidies for energy-saving improvement works, and 100% in subsidies for retro-commissioning works.

Scope of funding
Retrofitting projects: Replace building services installations
Upgrade your:
Lighting
Air-conditioning
Lifts and escalators
Electrical installations (e.g. water pumps)
Retro-commissioning projects: Optimise equipment and systems
Automatically controlling air-conditioning according to occupancy levels.
Installing a variable speed drive to control your water pump or fan speed.
Implementation of smart technology in building services installations
Install smart technology systems to track and control your building services installations’ operations.
Industrial manufacturing installations
Installations with achieving significant energy saving relative to project cost and incorporating:
Inverters
Variable speed drives
Heat recovery systems
We will assess projects on case-by-case basis to ensure that they achieve significant energy savings relative to the project cost.
Note:
We only subsidise retrofitting, retro-commissioning and smart technology works in the communal areas of eligible buildings.

Retrofitting projects
You may receive between 10% to 50% of your actual project expenditure. This includes the cost of your installations with respect to energy saving parts, Qualified Service Provider (QSP) service charges, and Energy Saving Facilitator (ESF) service charges.
Your exact funding amount depends on your:
Building type;
Type of tariff account;
Installation type; and
Project duration.

Your funding amount depends on:
Amount of estimated energy saved; and
Project duration.
We will grant more funding to projects that save more energy and can complete sooner. Our funding covers the cost of your installations with respect to energy saving parts, QSP service charges, and ESF service charges.
Receiving your funds
To receive funding, you must complete your project within 24 months of your Approval in Principle or Final Funding Approval (whichever is earlier). We will reimburse the approved funding. This means that you must settle your payments before you can claim from the CLP Eco Building Fund.
Note:
You may receive a higher funding amount if you can complete the whole project within 9 months or 18 months.
