CLP Smart Restaurant Fair 2021 highlights new digital transformation trends and fresh opportunities

CLP is committed to help the catering industry enhance operational and energy efficiency by leveraging innovative technologies. The CLP Smart Restaurant Fair 2021 was held from 1 to 3 December to introduce cutting-edge catering technology and energy management solutions to thrive in the new normal. It also served as a sharing platform for smart business opportunities within the industry.

The pandemic had an enormous global impact over the past two years. The catering industry faced unprecedented challenges, including reduced business hours, new consumer habits, the emergence of online delivery platforms and more. Themed “Towards a New Business Horizon”, the CLP Smart Restaurant Fair 2021 encouraged businesses to adopt innovative and transformational technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness under the new normal. 

The three-day event was divided into two parts: a catering technology exhibition and webinars. New technologies and solutions were featured, including smart robots, digital transaction platforms and automatic energy-saving appliances. The webinar invited professionals from the catering and IT industries, who discussed challenges and opportunities in the catering sector, new trends and digital transformation strategies under the new normal.
