CLP Smart Energy Award 2023

Let's Join the Energy-saving Movement and Take the Opportunity to Decarbonise!

Smart Energy Award 2023 Sharing Workshop was held on 31^st March 2023 at the Inno Centre, where around 250 representatives gathered from various business sectors and organisations. We were honoured to host a guest speaker from the Architectural Services Department, who shared how HKSAR government buildings are targeting carbon neutrality. Last year’s winning organisations shared inspiring stories about their energy-saving practices. CLP also shared its latest subsidy schemes and low-carbon solutions, while encouraging customers to participate in the upcoming 2023 awards to support Hong Kong’s journey towards a sustainable future.

The award aims to encourage businesses and organisations to deploy innovative technologies, smart management and other energy-saving measures to enhance operational efficiency and realise green opportunities.  The three major award categories are  Innovation, Carbon Management and Energy Management. Each award category is open to two separate participant groups - Corporate and Government Bodies, and Catering/Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs)/Non-governmental Organisations (NGOs)/Educational Institutes respectively.  Judges will select winners based on their outstanding performance in energy saving and carbon emissions reductions.

In addition, CLP will present Renewable Energy Contribution Awards, Joint Energy Saving Awards, Sustainable Vision Awards and the new Low-Carbon Driving Awards, in recognition of organisations with contributions for energy conservation and carbon reduction.

The Smart Energy Award 2023 programmme is now open for enrolment until 31^st May 2023. We hope organisations from all sectors will join us for this annual event to accelerate their decarbonisation journey. Let’s move towards a low-carbon future!
