2023 Tariff Adjustment

CLP is aware of the impact of tariff on households, and understands that many people and businesses, in particular disadvantaged groups and SMEs, are under considerable economic pressure. We will continue to freeze the Average Basic Tariff for 2023 at the same level for three consecutive years, and will offer a 2023 Special Energy Saving Rebate to offset some of the impact of the rise in the Average Net Tariff and encourage customers in different sectors of the Hong Kong community to save energy.

We have also allocated about HK$200 million from the CLP Community Energy Saving Fund to ease the financial burden of families in need, encourage our customers to save energy and promote low-carbon transition in Hong Kong.
