CLP subsidies and support for Small and Medium Enterprises

As our commercial and industrial customers, we have a series of programmes to help you improve energy efficiency, save operating costs and reduce carbon emission.

How are we doing to support you as our commercial and industrial customers?

We dedicate funding from the CLP Community Energy Saving Fund to to help commercial and industrial customers enhance their energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.

 
  • We will set aside HK$30 million to continue this scheme in 2024.
  • We subsidise you, in particular if you are small and medium-sized enterprises, to install or replace more energy-efficient electrical equipment such as lighting and air conditioning systems to improve energy efficiency and reduce your operating costs.

  • We set aside HK$20 million for this programme.
  • Subsidies will be provided for the purchase and installation of solar energy systems for eligible schools and non-governmental organisations within CLP Power’s supply area.
  • Eligible applicants will receive a subsidy up to HK$100,000 or 80% of the system installation cost, whichever is lower.

  • We set aside HK$1.15 million in 2024 for this programme.
  • The programme will provide training courses with extended contents on a variety of energy-saving solutions including retro-commissioning and building services replacement projects to employees who are involved in energy management across a variety of businesses.
  • The programme also encourages encourage commercial and industrial customers to retrofit and decarbonise existing premises to achieve greater energy efficiency and reduce operating costs in the long run.
