Eligibility

To qualify for the programme, you must:

  1. Be a residential customer living within the supply area of CLP Power; and

  2. Hold a valid electricity account and complete all tasks (the electricity account should remain active until the end of the Programme*/**)

How to Earn Rewards

Complete the following tasks in designated period:

1. Fill in the e-Form for the Programme

Submitting the e-Form is a one-time requirement. If it has been submitted during the "Starter Recognition" Period*, you do not need to submit it again during the "Expert Recognition" Period**.

If participants have not previously provided CLP Power with a consent for direct marketing, they should complete this form by 23:59 on December 31, 2024. Customers who would like to be invited to Thankful Week should complete the e-Form by 23:59 on October 6, 2024.

If an eligible participant fails to provide CLP Power with consent for direct marketing, CLP Power will not be able to send programme and reward information to the participant. The information collected will be used solely for sending programme-related information and will not override any previous instructions regarding direct marketing.

2. Sign up for and consistently use eBill notifications throughout the programme

You can sign up for eBill notification and opt out of paper bills here. 

Reminder

If you receive both paper bills and eBills, or if you opt out of eBill notifications during the programme period, you will not be considered as having fulfilled the requirements. However, if you have already applied for eBill notifications before the programme, you are still eligible to participate.

If one or more email addresses are listed with an “edit” button (as shown above), you have already subscribed eBill notification. You receive the eBill notification via the provided email address. ​

If you see a screen asking to confirm/add more new email address and indicate the agreement to subscribe eBill (as shown above), you have not yet subscribed to eBill notification. ​

Please note that you are not regarded as task completed if you receive both paper bill and eBill notification at the same time. Respective customers may contact our customer service center via eForm to change the settings.

 

3. Consistently use autopay or other ePayment methods throughout the Programme

Make at least one eligible bill payment by autopay or other ePayment method during the "Starter Recognition" Period*, or at least two such payments during the Low Carbon eJourney programme period. If a refund is requested by a customer after making a payment, the amount will not be considered eligible.

Eligible payment methods:

  • Bank/Credit Card Autopay
  • Faster Payment System (FPS)

  • AlipayHK

  • WeChat Pay HK

  • Internet banking

  • PPS

  • ATM

If no bill or fewer than two bills need to be settled during the Programme period, participants can make prepayments of at least HKD 150 via Internet banking, PPS, or ATM.

Autopay arrangements must be maintained or other ePayment methods used until the end of the programme. Please allow 4-6 weeks for the approval process of bank/credit card autopay. Only successful transactions are eligible for completing the task.

About the e-tickets

Programme-related information and e-tickets will be sent by email to the address provided by participants for e-Bill notification in CLP online account.

Participants who wish to be invited to Thankful Week and/or Saver’s Extravaganza must register as a Domeo member and link their memberships to their CLP online accounts.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Unfortunately, only successful transactions are considered valid. However, you may use other ePayment methods to fulfil the requirements. If a refund is requested, the amount will not be considered eligible.

The programme is open to holders of each electricity account. You will receive offers for each account once the requirements are fulfilled.

If you have signed up for eBill notifications and maintained your subscription throughout the Programme, you will still be considered as having fulfilled the requirements.   

You can make a prepayment by Internet banking, PPS, or ATM for an amount of at least HK$150. If a refund is requested, however, this amount will not be considered eligible.

Only customers who have fulfilled all the requirements and whose participating electricity accounts remain valid until the end of the programme will receive e-tickets. If you move to another residential address within CLP Power’s supply area, you must fulfil the requirements again for the new electricity account to be eligible for rewards.

Programme-related information and e-tickets will be sent by email to the address provided by participants for e-Bill notifications.

Only customers who have completed all the required tasks and whose participating electricity account is still valid until the end of the programme will receive e-tickets. Invitations will be sent by email. Please check your mailbox and ensure that your registered email address with us is still valid. Emails from CLP may be inadvertently blocked by your email service provider, so also check your spam folder.
